Movie on Humpback Whales
Monday, February 09, 2009
My favorite tourists to the Hawaiian Islands this time of year has to be the Humpback Whales. I always look forward to their annual winter visits when you can see them offshore from nearly any point along our island coastline.
To learn more about these magnificent marine mammals, attend the screening of a new documentary on the life of a mother and baby humpback whale. It will be shown three times this month at two Kauai public libraries. The film, "Ocean Voyagers" is narrated by Meryl Streep and will be showing at the Koloa Library at 6:30pm on February 11 and 18th. It will also be at the Kapaa Library on February 24 at 6:00pm.
