Good news!  

The County of Kauai has begun to issue approvals on the Transient Vacation Rental Applications for Non-conforming Certificates for vacation rentals located outside the VDA.  To see if a particular property has received approval, go to the County of Kauai's website or click here.

The log will appear in order of the date of application so if you do not remember this date, click on the last name or name of operation to have the log re-sorted.

I am pleased to say that my vacation rental on the west side, Kekaha Sunset Cottage was approved.  Please keep it in mind for an affordable 3 bedroom home just a couple minutes to the beach.  Just $140 a night with all the conveniences including wireless internet and free long distance calls to the mainland and Canada.
